1. Mercury Contaminated Waste Management
CWM launched Sri Lanka’s first fully compliant solution for mercury-contaminated wastes—including laboratory waste, fluorescent bulbs, and industrial effluents. Through strategic partnerships with global leaders, we ensure safe collection, ISO-aligned pre-processing, and responsible export for mercury recycling, protecting people and ecosystems.We collaborate with banks, leasing companies, and financial institutions to ensure confidential data handling and secure asset management. Through certified data destruction and IT asset recycling, we help maintain regulatory compliance, safeguard client trust, and protect brand integrity.
2. Toner Cartridge Recycling
Addressing a nationwide gap, this program enables the full recycling and material recovery of used toner cartridges, including carbon powder. All components are processed for reuse or sustainable disposal, substantially reducing landfill burden and supporting a local circular solution.
3. XRF Technology Integration for Waste Stream Analysis
With the introduction of advanced XRF (Spectrometer-based Rapid Fluorescence) technology, we can accurately identify metals and key substances in sludges and complex waste streams. This ensures optimal design for safe disposal and recovery, enhancing both compliance and efficiency.From private firms to large public enterprises, we help organizations achieve corporate sustainability goals. 4. Precious Metal Refinery Establishment
Our state-of-the-art facility specializes in extracting gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, and nickel from electronic waste. By recovering valuable metals from discarded electronics, we transform e-waste into new opportunities and reduce imports of raw metals.We support hospitals, clinics, labs, pharmacies, and drug manufacturers with safe disposal and mercury waste management services. Our solutions minimize environmental risks while meeting healthcare safety and compliance guidelines.
5. Chemical Manufacturing from Refinery By-products

By leveraging refinery residues, CWM produces essential chemicals—notably copper oxalate and copper nitrate—enhancing material reuse, cutting waste, and maximizing input utility.
6. Zero Chemical Discharge System
Sri Lanka’s first Precious Refinery, CWM, operates a zero chemical discharge closed-loop. By consistently collecting, purifying, and reusing chemicals—sometimes improving them with targeted additives—we minimize material use and waste. The result is lower operating costs, conserved resources, and a clear demonstration of environmental stewardship and operational excellence
